- I was born in 18 March 1939, in clinical Ieronymakis Heraklion. Now the clinic has become famous Conservatory, and even above the piano is my photo, in there, namely, who gave birth to my mother. The Markopoulos family descended from Ierapetra. I still vote in Ierapetra. There I grew up to 17 my years I came to Athens. My hometown was divided in two: Kato Mera and Pano Mera. Kato was refugees, The Fishermen, while the top was the administration, the elders say. I have three other siblings -I am megalyteros- and I remember that I liked to listen to the songs of popular people and the boatmen of Kato Mera. So today I am 76 years I have not changed at all.
- We were urban house. My father was a lawyer and had served as prefect in many places in Greece. My mother caught the guitar and singing. The occupation associated with KOUNDOUROU, the big one, known family moved to Saint Nicholas. Nikos Koundouros is my distant relative, except my partner, but one who literally received from the boat when I arrived in the capital.
