The Orpheus Choir of Tripoli, with the Anniversary Concert “Rejoice Oh rejoice Freedom”, celebrates 200 years since the beginning of the Greek Revolution .
The Concert includes narration and lyrics from the Hymn to Freedom, of our National Poet Dionysios Solomos, who wrote it 1823, part of which constitutes the National Anthem of Greece from 1865 and of Cyprus from 1966.
Actor Kostas Koklas is the narrator.
Narrative and Lyrical Song, the distinguished Greek Mesophone Maria Vlachopoulou.
Chamber music orchestra accompaniment.

Direction: Lefteris Yovanidis.
The ORFEAS Choir of Tripoli participated in the event, η Χορωδία Τρίπολης και η Χορωδία του Μουσικού Σχολείου Τρίπολης. Responsible for the musical teaching of the project, for the choirs of ORFEAS Tripoli and the Music School of Tripoli,
the conductor Christina Athanasopoulou.
The scenery was completed by Loukas Ziaras and Christos Kalaitzoglou with their virtual interventions and Nikos Sotiropoulos with the lighting.
